Rob is a founder of MMC, and a Director of MMC Group Holdings. He has more than 30 years’ experience in business development and fund administration in the New Zealand market.
Rob held various senior management positions at financial institutions in New Zealand prior to the establishment of MMC in 2002.

Tom co-founded MMC in 2002 and is a Director of MMC Group Holdings. He has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, with over 25 years in fund accounting and administration.
LinkedInNigel is a Managing Partner at Pencarrow and has more than 30 years’ experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to joining Pencarrow in 2005, Nigel was a Partner with investment bank, Cameron Partners, and prior to that was at Fay, Richwhite.
In addition to being on the board of MMC, Nigel is a Director on portfolio companies Seequent, Netlogix, RedShield and NZ Frost Fans. He has previously been a Director of BrewGroup, phil&teds, BJ Ball and Rishworth Aviation.
LinkedInPhilippa is an Investment Director at Pencarrow. She joined the firm in 2012 following 10 years in investment management with AMP Capital and Kiwibank.
In addition to being on the board of MMC, Philippa is a Director of portfolio companies BeGroup, Mix and SolarZero and is a Council Member of the NZ Private Capital Association.
LinkedInA serial digital entrepreneur, Carmen joined the board in July 2020. Carmen has a 20 year track record in the New Zealand banking and mortgage-lending markets, most recently as the founder and global Chief Executive Officer of digital property valuation platform, Valocity. She is also the founder and Chair of data analytics agency, Data Insight.
Carmen has been recognised for her entrepreneurship and business innovation and won a string of awards both globally and locally including: Global Fintech Start-up of the Year 2019; NZDM Nexus Supreme Winner Award; and the CIO Digital Transformation prize.
LinkedInPaul is a well-known figure in the New Zealand financial services industry, also joining the MMC board in July 2020. He is currently a member of the Financial Advice Code Working Group and a director of Ngāi Tahu's Whai Rawa Fund.
Paul has been a director of pioneering New Zealand boutique fund manager, Brook Asset Management, served on the 2011 Savings Working Group, and was a senior financial services and tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Additionally, he has held a senior policy role at the Inland Revenue Department during which he was seconded to both the OECD and the New Zealand Treasury.
